  • What is the "Happy Times" Referral/Loyality Program?
    The "Happy Times" Referral Loyality program ©️ is a promotional program which offers rewards to customers, or to sex business owners themselves, for referring a QLD sex business to signup to the site and post Advertising. Its free to join the program (must be 18+) once joined members have no limits on referring QLD sex businesses to sign up. Rewards are discounts at the same sex businesses a member has referred who have signup & posted advertising.
  • Can I cancel my account?
    YES, absolutely. You can cancel at any time through your account. Send an email requesting cancelling.
  • Do I need to be a QLD licensed brothel to provide a sexual service in Queensland?
    NO. Since 1st August 2024 the new decriminalised sex work legislation came into affect thereby abolishing all licensing requirements. Exisiting QLD brothels have had their licensing fees refunded. The Prostituion Licensing Authority (PLA) has also been abolished. Local city council planning impact assesments have a 1 year moratorium to amend the current local town planning laws to reflect the new decriminalised sex work legislation. Shop premises still have an obligation to trade lawfully without discrimilation as any other type of shop business.
  • Will QLD WorkSafe visit my massage shop(s)?
    Provided you continue to keep your account paid up active and adhere to operating your sex business according the new Sex Work Safety Guidelines. You are better placed to be compliant. It's very important you remain active and adhere to the Safe Sex Work Guidelines to have peace of mind against complaints and possible QLD WorkSafe compliance inspections.
  • Where can I source free condoms?
    You can order free condoms, to be delivered to your Queensland massage businesses, by first registering your massage shop on our registry. Free condoms are available to registered massage businesses.
  • Who supplies sex work products for massage shop sex workers?
    Massage shop owners are responsible to provide all sex work products to staff, such as condoms, lubricants & female hygiene items. According to the strict WorkSafe Guidelines. However, sex working staff may also supply their own sex work products. Registered massage shops / parlors have access to free condoms and discounts on sex and massage products.
  • What do I need to know about the new massage work safety guidelines
    You can download this quick checklist to view your rights and responsibilities here. By registering your massage / parlor or sex work business you will be better informed, receive updates as well as be registered as a legal compliant QLD sex business.
  • I didn't receive my Course Completed Certificate.
    First look in your Junk / Spam folder. If still not found, please reach out and contact us at admin@queenslandparlorregistry.com.au for a replacement. Course Completed Certificates are emailed after the selected plan period is paid in full. If opted to pay monthly your certificate will be emailed after three monthly payments.
  • Is it Legal for QLD Massage Shops /Parlors and Sex Workers to Offer a Sexual Service?
    YES. From 1st August 2024 legislation came into effect for all sex work in the state of Queensland being decriminalised. Means it is no longer a crime to provide a sexual service in massage shops or in private premises as a sex worker. Provided the "sex business" operates in accordance with strict QLD Workplace Health & Safety Guidelines. This site is created to assist QLD Massage Shops & Sex Workers to understand the new sex worker law changes and to operate according to the guidelines legally & safely. Persons Conducting a Business or Undertaking (PCBU) such as massage shop parlor owners and Sex Workers, are responsible to understand and adhere to the new guidelines. It is highly recommended for all QLD Massage Shops & Sex Workers to open a site account here. Complete the premises safety check list as proof they understand the strict guidelines and will adhere to the new law and guidelines. We issue a "Course Completed" Certificate to all sex businesses who sign up and complete the quick course. There are now no requirements to be licensed to provide a sexual service in Queensland.
  • Is signing up my massage shop/parlor or sex work premises account compulsory?
    No, it is voluntary. Signing up your sex business (Massage shop or Sex Worker premises) confirms you've viewed the WorkSafe for Sex Work Guidelines. Received your Course Completed Certificate. It's highly recommended to set up your account, be certified as legally operating according to the QLD Workplace Health & Safety Guidelines and keep up to date with sex work laws in Queensland. Know your rights and obligations under the new law means peace of mind.
  • Can massage parlor shops and sex workers advertise on the site?
    YES, exclusively to only Queensland massage parlor shops and sex workers. Just Create your account, first. Once set up you will have a link in your account to create ads which will appear in the Ad section pages. Ads are reviewed to check they meet site T&C's. You can post up to 10 ads. The first 2 are included FREE. Ads are graphically designed to get attention. Your approval is sort before publishing. Example Ad. See our Ad pages.
  • Will Queensland Police visit my massage shop(s)
    NO, From 1st August 2024 sex work within Queensland massage shops was decriminalised, meaning it's no longer a crime. QPS no longer monitor massage shops in Queensland.
  • Does my sex business need a QLD WorkCover insurance policy?
    Yes, Since sex work in Queensland was decriminalised, your self and staff, who provide a sexual service, are now covered through a workcover insurance policy. Claims maybe lodged for workplace injuries. Contact Workcover to arrange your policy.
  • Is it recommended to display my Registration / Course Completed Certificate in my premises ?
    Displaying your Guidelines Course Completed Certificate in your premises is highly recommended, although it is voluntary. By displaying the certificate, you validate and confirm that your sex business adheres legally to the new WorkSafe for Sex Work Guidelines. This not only creates trust and transparency with your clients but also differentiates your business as one that is compliant with health and safety standards. Clients are more likely to feel reassured and confident in the services provided, knowing that your establishment follows recognized professional guidelines for sex work.

Queensland Police Service (QPS) will NOT visit your business premises to conduct safety checks of sex worker staff at your registered shops.

However, police visits may occur for all other Illegal criminal activity according to Federal and Queensland State law or immigration breaches.
